As usual the emergency candles are nowhere to be found. Here is a great hack.
Keep a large can of Crisco oil in the pantry. Tape a candle wick to the side. When the emergency arises, push the candle wick deep into the oil and voila you have light! You will have candle light for up to 72 hours!! It’s non toxic and inexpensive.
** add a ceramic pot over it and you have a Chiminea that provides heat!
